Knackered...
Half a dozen of us out today taking advantage of the nice conditions. Took a little while to get settled today & still not sure I got it totally right, found it hard to accelarate out of gybes. Had a bit of a bash at a few Kms & kept going until the GPS's looked like they were about to die. Does anyone know if you run the battery on a GW52 or 60 completely flat whilst still sailing, will there be a session recorded?
The last 50kms was a bit of hard work, I have no idea how Steve did his 176kms without a break, that's an awesome effort.
Still knackered...

Elmo (31542km): JP HF MNP RSDR E7 7.0m, NP Flight AL My sessions a bit sad and insignificant in comparison to the Albanakastan efforts today. That said I had a ball on the foil, a bit over powered on the 7.0m sail which led to some big jumps and crashes but overall a whole lotta fun. I did measure 11.5 to 14.7 knots on the shore but there was a definite wind line out where I was which made things interesting. Bring on some more red arrows | ||||||||||||||||||
PJ (24612km): Boggy Lake, SA, AU Wind all sorts, when going SW'ly-Patrik 100-Koncept 6.2m-Select S11 35cm Great day but afternoon sea breeze forgot to arrive. Many people at Boogy to play and early birds reaped rewards when was some wind. Rigged and hoped and had 30 mins of fun. Patrik 100 very alive and fun to sail with 35cm pointer fin which made the weedy I've been using very ordinary:-( |
