Knackered...

Half a dozen of us out today taking advantage of the nice conditions. Took a little while to get settled today & still not sure I got it totally right, found it hard to accelarate out of gybes. Had a bit of a bash at a few Kms & kept going until the GPS's looked like they were about to die. Does anyone know if you run the battery on a GW52 or 60 completely flat whilst still sailing, will there be a session recorded?

The last 50kms was a bit of hard work, I have no idea how Steve did his 176kms without a break, that's an awesome effort.

JP HF MNP RSDR E7 7.0m, NP Flight AL

My sessions a bit sad and insignificant in comparison to the Albanakastan efforts today.

That said I had a ball on the foil, a bit over powered on the 7.0m sail which led to some big jumps and crashes but overall a whole lotta fun.

I did measure 11.5 to 14.7 knots on the shore but there was a definite wind line out where I was which made things interesting.

Bring on some more red arrowsCool

Boggy Lake, SA, AU

Wind all sorts, when going SW'ly-Patrik 100-Koncept 6.2m-Select S11 35cm

Great day but afternoon sea breeze forgot to arrive. Many people at Boogy to play and early birds reaped rewards when was some wind.

Rigged and hoped and had 30 mins of fun. Patrik 100 very alive and fun to sail with 35cm pointer fin which made the weedy I've been using very ordinary:-(

Fantastic Albanians!!!! I was thinking a good distance would help, looks like you picked up my thoughts.

3 hrs straight is real dedication, and a nice 3xhr steve, and distance PB Jeremy. Great session.

Nice numbers. May just have to stop by next year Smile.

Morts, I have had the GW-60 run out of battery in a session, and was able to get the data off without problems later. But that was just one time, and the GW-60 is not exactly consistent in other aspects, so I would not bet that it always works.

Dave looks promising at this stage but as it's due to a predicted TC's (or very deep low) path down the coast not getting excited just yet. Have seen these look really good a week out then dissipate over the last couple of days.

Dave, just don't let Evets call it a big day, nor let Capn Calm pack a speed board and you should be ok.Laughing
