Morning Session all by my lonesome at Leighton, no kiters just a few beach goers. A lot of fun coming into the beach surf and jibing between the small breaks. Might even do an arvo session if I can finish my work.
Manta 61, KAR 6.3
Second session at Melville good to catch up with the Pink sailor young Tim on his 7.8 and young Kenny, was fun having a couple of drags out to the choppy centre, nothing notable for the results nut here they are.

An afternoon as smooth as a Yacht Rock concert.
Good to catch up with Anita, Pas and Fangy. Not so good to catch up with one of Fangy's trained crabs (again),

A fun afternoon groovin in the almost smooth with Fangy, Rob, Pas, Joe and Ian.
I may not have scored a PB alpha today but some of those gybes were my best ever in terms of smoothness and control. I feel I am finally getting the hang of planing gybes - I made lots of planing gybes today and achieved my best min speeds and gybe shapes ever (gybes from port tack anyway)- just the entry speed wasn't there due to lack of wind and sail. Peak speed in the gybes 21 knots. One gybe would have been a PB but was too wide. The new Chinook boom is so much easier to gybe with. Making progress.

2 weekends in a row at Melville. Wind started off light around 2pm then steadily increased to about 25 gusts. Very patchy as usual so difficult to get a good speed run. The chop and tide increased rapidly as the wind picked up. Got some good alpha practise in the gusts. Changed to the mistral 91 but wasnt able to get 30 knots 2 sec but was able to go for a NM.
Good to catch up with Tim, woody and Boz and the other locals.
6.2 reflex, 97 futura then mistral 91, 34 falcon and 25 triball ws.

Not as strong as I was hoping, but still fun blasting through the flat stuff. Good to catch up with a few Pinaroos and other punters.

A great arvo at Liptons with fellow Pinnas Ben & Chris plus the regular friendly Mandurah Crew.
It wasnt as good as Liptons can get but still had a ball.
Great to meet a few new faces, Paul and Greg.
The Patrik is continuing to deliver some good numbers, very happy with it.

First time at Liptons. Fantastic spot but think I would've been quickey with a shorter fin. Took a couple of hours on the water until I felt comfortable. Came in and realised there wasn't any tension on the batterns.
Great to meet a few of the Mandurah mobbers who made us welcome and good to see Craig and Chris there too.
