Melville. That was a fun session. Tried the 88lt Tabou Manta for the first time with a NP v8 6.2. So much easier to ride than the 71 JP Slalom. Good to see Lunny out there flying on his new board.

Point Walter, WA, AU

Another session at PW, wind was all over the shot some bullets but nothing to write home about didn't last long enough for a proper speed run, all in all a pleasant sail with only a couple other windsurfers.

Thought about Mandurah but time flew by and Melville looked pretty good. Good to catch up with Geoff who was belting along nicely and also Woody running in his new toy.

There was this other guy who i tried to spray while heading in too, looked a lot like TimLaughing

Seemed to drop away a tad but really happy the Patrik is delivering some good numbers.

Coodanup, WA, AU

I figured the wind wouldn't last till the weekend so took a run to Coodanup. Couldn't improve my 2 sec but I'm learning something new every day. I got on the water at 15:20 when the Fremantle tide was 0.88 and not quite as smoooth as last time. Headed in around 16:20 when the tide was 0.91 and the NM run had Melville-style mini-chop. My Hour would have been better if I stayed out 10 minutes longer because it included tacking to the outer banks. I did some gybes that felt nice but the numbers weren't that good because my speed was still building 100m out. I might be able to get this gear to go a little faster but I need to be more organised.

Safety Bay, WA, AU

Missioned down to Safety Bay with the lad.

After the weekend in Cervantes I decided I needed a small slalom board and found a bargain on Seabreeze...a 90 Kinetic Gladiator in excellent condition for $300.  Old board, but in great condition, so I don't think it's been used much.  Picked it up at the Carlisle St launch spot from an old fella from the SB Windsurfing Club.

Breeze never really booted in today, started to pick up around 5, but I had to get going, so I only managed a couple of powered up runs.

90 Gladiator + 27 Tribal SW + 6.6 TR7.

Happy with the Alpha, for the first sail of the 90.  More to come I think.

My son Ryder had fun also and got planing a few times.

Might have missed the best of it looking at the grins of those who were already out there. Tried a few different things on my setup today including going with a bigger fin on this combo. It certainly felt better but not being fully powered up could not tell if it made a big enough difference. Good to see a few Pinnas come down but strangely not go out for a sail, Jase alpha male, Ken shiny car and Andrew 'make you crash and break stuff, hurt your wrist and other bad things!. Tongue out

Great session Guys!

Woody, that's pretty impressive speed for a newcomer to the team. Congratulations on your very impressive 2 sec and 5X PBs which are both better than anything I have been able to do, ever.

Lunny, super 2 sec and nm, a  30 knot river naughty is an elite effort, but big congratulations on the PB corner. Most impressive! Your gybing is going from strength to strength.

Nice work on two more PBs Rob!

Pointy, that is a superb alpha for a new board, and a second best for you ever. Well done! Your surgeon should be especially pleased with his efforts!
