Was going to do an hr byt the body said no after yesterdays sailing, some nice squalls and the final run was the highest result also a massive wipeout when I hit the chop slightly side on, dead stop, sore knee the only negative outcome, probably a rest day tommorow will see how the body recovers. Sorry Lunnster did not have enough juice in the tank for an hour.

Woohoo that was more like the usual Coodanup. Some wicked gusts and pretty flat water, just had to look out for the weedbergs.
Not too many of us out either. Not surprised though as it was pretty cold out there.

Pretty good sesh at Melville today, but lots of standing around waiting for gusts (it took me two hours to do 15 mile).
M112 + 7 TR9 + 33 CL SL2.
First hour I was only getting 32-33K peaks, then it booted in for a while and I managed one smoking run for the peak speed and a 35.9K 10-sec. It dropped off again after that.
Tide was mid-range, so the chop was manageable.

Decided to brave the cold and go for a sail.
Obviously wind was very up and down but had a good time not falling in and managing to avoid the scary squalls - until one completely smashed me down. Could not water start in the howling wind so had to lie and wait until it passed, by which time I was too cold to carry on.
The squalls were pretty big and most sailors were eying them warily - except for Chris Lockwood who went eagerly racing down the beach to try and catch one.
Boz was having some great runs. Nice to have a chat to Kenny
