Great day at Marion with heaps out. Forecast was great so rigged the 6.2 and got the 90L board out. Wind dropped a bit after rigging so went out on the 107. Never really powered up, so came in an rigged the 7.0m. Wind freshened as soon as i did (as always). Went for a NM, then did a 1hr. By the end of the 1hr it was probably blowing close to 30 knots, so pretty overpowered! The weed bed was really flat! Not a huge area, but it was about as good as i've seen it today! Should have done some bear-offs, but was too busy doing the 1hr!

2573 days ago Marion Bay, TAS, AU Not a good start to the afternoon - had a campervan try and run me off the road on the way down from the city  , sliced my palm on my fin (thanks for patching me up Dave and Steve), did a big "belly-smaker" during a NM attempt, did a head-smack during a 2S attempt, but in the end got the cobwebs out of the system and a good day out  . Wind really came in late afternoon but I ran out of friends, water, time and nerve after everyone including the kiters had gone home, so didn't push my luck despite a 2S PB probably being in the offing. Did a board PB on both the 107 (33.967 knots) and the 76 (34.439 knots), so pleased with that!
