A long wait for any wind but finally got some. Lake a little on the deep side so the chop was more choppy than normal

started out light worked my way up wind all the way to Pulbar Isalnd then went for a big 1 hr down winder I was siting on avarage just under 30 for half hr then wind droped half way home so still heaps of fun going off the breaze but a shame for what could have been very big hr espetialy for open lake chop..
Then the wind came in and the 7 was way to much rigged down to 6.3 it was smoking 30 to 35 and waves people were surfing on so scary doing over 35 not touching the water ass cheaks clenched tight pushing itlove it. happy days.
felt good still could have done another 100km but last person left sailing time to call it a day.

Massive southerly at Marmong. Started out pretty powered on the 6.3 then it picked up even more. Had a great time on the bump and jump gear. Has been ages since i got to use the 5.0. Really good to sail with everyone then enjoy a Christmas beer and sausage sizzle at the club with everyone afterwards. Great way to finish up the year!
Thanks to Tibor for the photo

Fanatic Ray 102, R8 5.7 Overdrive. Rigged small but by the time I got out the 15-20 knot southerly had picked up another 5-10+ knots. Had a few runs but too lumpy and gusty for me. Byron and Hugh showing us how it,s done on Slalom gear , plus a few out on wave type boards and 5ish M sails also having a ball. Otherwise any day at he club with Sailing mates and a BBQ to finish off is a good day. Nice to see Tibor and Irene as well.
