TOW sail with Fangy, mostly underdone, but managed to get my weight in the harness and feet in the straps a few times.

Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU. FF113/SCR7.0, Just me and the kiters, but it was a fun sail. Glad to get one in before heading away for work tonight for a couple of weeks. Only had one crack at a Nauty, so happy with the result, and the Alpha too given the wind strength and big kit Smile

Safety Bay, WA, AU   Big foil gear. 2XC 7.8

Foiling with Frank at my local. The others that are allready faster than me went to the Patrik clinic to become even faster so I was captain slow again today.

Time on water is realy improving my foiling if not my speed. My gybes are still a work in progress but done my best ones on the big board so far today.

As I came in to pack up the others turned up from their fast class and put on an amazing display of foiling in the building wind. Great to watch Tom and Darryl racing each other. It was pretty close. Think Tom has it on the top speed but Darryl is a bit quicker round the course over all.

Desperate for a splash. Chucked in the Barge and FF28(Swoody) and the remnants of the Burswood Dome roof for the sail. Not quite enough puff to make it a fully planning session, but the hint of summer was unmistakeably in the air. Bring it on :-)

Short session late in the day.

Didn't hit the water at Dawesville till 1620 this arvy, the wind was offshore and a fair way out, but once in it it was quite nice, although occasionally there were some stronger gusts which had me clenching.

Shoulder was giving me grief from the get go, and was aggrivated when a stronger gust hit and took control of the kit which had me strugling to hang on and control things when it got squirrely.

Was thinking about the next run being the last and was flying up between the sand sandbar markers when two massive hits two the foil had me doing an unplanned dismount. Not knowning what I'd hit assuming it had a reasonable sized fin on it at the time I hit it I wasn't hanging around to long in the water.

Thankfully the foil was still attached and working so I managed to get back.

On shore found that I now have a nice grazed ans bruised knee from collecting some of my kit on the way through, and have to replace all 5 of my blade screws which are now slightly bent.

Other than that and a bruised ego theres no other damage (will check the fin box tomorow).

Ahh what ever doesn't kill ya just gives ya bruises and expenses.

The sudden stop

Awesome PB Jake especially on the big gear (equivalent to me on an 11m) and in choppy water too.

Strewth Elmo, is there anyone more committed to self harm than you? Do you reckon rogue berg or unlucky stingray?
