Thanks Steve and Kaz! Wind was ssw, I think Dunalley even had south for a while. It doesn't work as well as the ne'ers. The ends don't seem to get much wind, which makes planing jibes a little difficult, and also means no speed run sections. The middle doesn't hold as much in this direction either, if it goes much past 20kns it gets choppy. Definately not as good as the NE direction. But still, I'm just clocking up some mileage at the moment, making up for the lack of sailing over winter!!
