Thanks Dan for the loan of the mast, gumby  mistake loaded thewrong mast and was about to head back to Freo when Dan rocked up and graciously loaned me his 400 XP100 mast, real nice fit for the KA sail, thanks heaps. No HR today real gusty, started the Hr but aborted about 15 minutes in, sail was the wind stayed as strong when I first went out, NM had a big lull in the middle speed droppedto 25knts again pity as the run across the channel was looking good.

A few more days left for the NM challange so will make the most of it when the wind kicks in. Great bunch of Pinnas all braved the conditions, No one else No MOB?

Wannanup (Liptons), WA

Nice long session out with a bunch of other Pinna's (Tim, Woody, Boz, Kenny). Great day on the water and really enjoyed the flats at Liptons. Got Boz out of trouble after he bought the wrong mast with him - had a spare 400 NP that I loaned to him for the session. Mast is still in one piece so thanks for taking care Boz!

Woohoo, finally cracked a 23 alpha! justEmbarassed. Wasn't thinking alpha when I got here. Took off with 6.4m and soon felt like the channel wasn't going to get me again. Some serious swell coming through and plenty of long air hangs. Also my best speed on the FF98, so was stoked to finally see it deliver some speed. Good bunch of pinna lads to blast with but no sign of the mobsters.

Arrived late to the pinna party. Im not a morning person. Apparently I missed the strongest winds in the morning. Still had a decent session in frontal winds. Hopefully my fitness level is enough for Leeman this saturday. Starting to get nervous...Laughing

Good to chat with Decrepit after everyone left.

Couldn't find the on switch today and may have over dawnhauled the sail I think but great to see Boz, Lunny, Flatchat, CrimsonFlash and Kenny giving justice to terrific conditions at Liptons. Manta 61 Vapor 6.4 wp 24

Melville Beach, WA, AU

Wasn't up for the orgy in Mandurah so I headed to Melville. Incredibly gusty. Had a look over at Wally world but it was even gustier and bit too much west in teh wind. Some good gusts on offer and plenty of flat water on the Melville sand bar with the right fin until the tide dropped a wee bit too low. The bullets of wind were so short it was hard to pick them. Felt like better speeds were on offer, perhaps a bigger sail would have helped with the pre gust acceleration.

Quick fang around at Melville before work.  Pretty lit at times with the M112 + 7 TR9 + 33 CL SL2 combo.

Tide was high, so not much flat water and the bearaways were teeth-chattering!

Nice to get a powered up sesh on the slapper, it's been a while.

Thanks folks. Still alot of work to do but hopefully getting there with the alphas. Seems to me the fullness of the carpark certainly helps! and yes snakey, i did leave the cover on as it was quite shallow out there today. Good luck to Boz and Kenny who was putting in some serious practice for the screaming leeman this weekend.

Great team turnout for  a workday, and some excellent results too, earning us more points in 2 sec and 5X.

Boz, impressive set of numbers all round, for a frontal Liptons, especially the nm. Across the channel? Pity the hour didn't work out, but  hey, it could have been worse if a loaner mast was not offered. Well done for not trashing it. Big distance for a frontal session.

Nice U turn Flatchat! Keep 'em coming. Not far off Lunny for speed either.

Lunny, showing your class as usual and leading the way with speed and alpha

Crimson - what a super session for you with 4 top 5 results. well done!

Kenny - you are sailing really well and getting some excellent speeds. Your hour was right up there with Boz & Lunny - distinguished company! (and well done on a top 5 hour on Monday too)

Cannonball - maybe Melville was the place for an hour today - you scored best hour. Glad to see you getting some good sessions in

Pointman - good 2 sec for gusty Melville with a high tide

Woody - not your best day but I am sure you enjoyed the company and had a lot more fun than I did! The only top 5 I managed was for longest day at work!

Yes Anita across the channel, bigger swell than normal but actually quite easy, lost speed in a couple lulls, would have easily beaten the Albany run if not for the lulls.
