Streetbob (703km): Albany, WA, AU Just want to say thanks to all of the crew that helped me out today at Albany Could not have made it back to the shore without your help very much appriciated guys and girls Anyway 2 PBs before the sudden stop, using Stevos old 6.1 Servenne power machine AND his good old reliable Futara 111 what a combo | ||||||||||||||||||
BSN101 (13855km): AB+ 59 Tribal Delta 18 NP RSX Convert 7.0 Epic Epic Epic day with the Knotters Steve Drew Chris. Morning trip started 5am on the road then a stop at Rocky Gully then 4x tyre change at Barker. We arrived in Albany 1005 and went strqight to the accommodation. Bloody gold, rig on lawn & walk kit across the road (bike path) into the water. Rigged the 7.0 as everyone else was on the bigger sail although i was leaning towards the 6.2. & was the correct size and the Ab+ was comfy all day and an awesome sesh. Out chasing Drew who showed that he a machine although he only deviates off course when he gybes, LOL. One day he will follow where others are racing but his gybing at both ends has gone through the roof. Steve & chris were zooming around and having a ball. Chris was playing it cool by having liong runs then a quick rest, until, BOOM. Steve and a few others assisted to extract him before i found out. He hobbled to the villa and dosed himself up and also necked a brew. Short story he decided that he needed more assistance and called the UBER Ambulance. Drew being the machine, ripped the skin off his soft fingesr but blew all his Pb stats way way out of the water an unreal day for him. Steve was on a toothpick and smashed its so check out his stats. I was always chasind drew who was 30km infront so i wanted to go as far as possible to back ohim up. 155 ig gold for me and in the end last off the water so happy as. Lots & lots of gbes and so many fully planing with lovely walls of water mid way. A couple of Nm attempts but i really didnt get a good run for the whole distance but when i wtook Steve up there he got his Pb so an awesome number for his first Albany windsurfing trip. I was watching the number of crew on the water dwindle from almost 20 til it was only me and holding out for as long as the wind held, it started to drop so i decided to call it a day as i figured i had done enough, plenty enough, save something for tomoz!!!! Woohoo!

Old Salt (13930km): WOW! Big day! Long road trip with the most packed trailer ever seen. Amazing place and a great group of sailors having a ball. Everyone with PB's from the team, with the one downside that Chris ended up in hospital, and will undergo surgery to plate his broken femur at some stage. Thanks to Woody-Mark, Lunny, Stroppo and ohers for the extraction of Chris from the water. Sorry it messed up your 1hr at the 50 min point.
Loved the flat water, and finally cracked that 35knot 2sec so extremely happy with that. NM run was fun too, very very special place. Also fantastic to see all the familiar faces of the Pinnas, Mobsters and Coastals.... and a few others. The Deputy (3123km): OK Dave.
Updating my stats now that I am at home. I had a fantastic time in the company of great people. I thought i would give my wave sails a run out as thats all i really have. I think i got the best time and distance on a wave sail than anyone that was sailing today Lots of fance race sails out there that went flying past me but NO wave sails.
