Lilacs Albany, Fabulous sail even if underpowered as my 6.3m sail was damaged, and had to use my 5.9m, always wanting more wind on the speed run, and bogging down in the lulls on the NM run.  The NM run was a bit short eraly on as tide was too low, but hey I couldve spent the day at work instead, I'm in cool Albany sailing in sensational flat water with about 25kts of wind, with the odd stronger gust.  About 15 or 16 windsurfers on the water, lots of happy people.  As good as it getsCool

Anothe fun Lilacs day with heaps of happy people, most sails I've seen rigged on Lilacs lawn, should have taken a pic, but for some reason didn't, but I think Anita did.

waited till after lunch for the water to come up and wind to fill in, rigid for the gusts, and got one on my first NM run!

It was a real pleasure to be on the small gear for a change, 43cm board, 16cm@50deg weedy and 5.2 speed.

tried to improve my 5x10 but every run got slower, so called it quits, and see what happens in the morning

Sorry guys, I just wasn't up to it Frown

Good news it was a ripper day, not too cold, caught up with some sailors I've met before and met some new ones, enjoyed the stoke of all the PB's.

Carbon Art SL87L, Tribal 18 Delta, 5.8 Koncept and a rubber much to red's excitment Laughing

Drove down following a lengthy meeting at work, fun sail with a crowd. tried several alphas but often too wide.

Albany, WA, AU. Another great day in paradise with a good roll up of speed addicts out having a blast. Very happy to crack the 27kt hr, I've being eyeing that off for a while. The alpha is unfinished business! Laughing. Sonic 100/SCR7, then CA52/SCR6.3, then CA47 - Shouldn't have bothered with the speed board, getting to the top of the nauty run with it slowed my distance progress and was fairly energy sapping

Wow I don't think I've sailed with so many people on the water at Lilacs, I'm not used to having to keep an eye out for multiple NM flyers bearing down on you. If this becomes a regular thing then in true Albany style we may have to install a roundabout at the end of the NM run.

Good fun day & the forecast for tommorow looks promising Cool

Hope the Bunno sailor makes a quick & full recovery.
