I learned something today. Whenever you are having a great time don,t verbalise it or you are inviting disaster. Having a great time on the slalom board and did a bear away...yelled out.."this is awesome" then went a bit too far and hit the weed mud bank off the end of the spit..came up looking like cousin IT with seaweed everywhere.  Brushed myself off and did a few more runs then BANG 

, Shots of pain from my ankle and I am in the water.  S..t that hurts so had a rest.  Then discovered my boom was no longer connected to my mast.  A few attemptsa to jury rig using my adjustable outhaul rope and got going but my ankle was killing me. Had the sail the whole way upwind to Cockys with my left foot out of the stap but got there.

But I still had an awesome time..heaps of fun

A bit lighter winds today but lots of fun just blasting around on the small slalom board. 

A good crew on the water: Martin, Mat, Jimbob, Spotty, Dizzi, Kempster, Ashley, John and I assume Cam, but I dont think I saw the latter, except on the cafe ths morning.

I think the water level was a few cm lower again today and there were some really nice, large flat patches. 

I chesed around everyone I saw and hope I have some video of almost everyone. 

Looks like I'll be staying here for at least a few more days.
