Well what a frikkin contrast. Thursday I was in Carnarvon, melting in 39 degrees but today I was in a wettie on little kit giving my hands a bashing.
Great to be back although this time only Steve could make it. Almost a soccer team out on the water with a mix of speed sails boards fins & water ware lol. Water was quite low so Mermaidens must have been else where sunning themselves. Weed was generous and at times I wasn’t sure if I should have been where I was. Is that the bottom or weed that I’m chopping?? Hmmm?!
I managed about 50km before Steve hit the water. He looked like he was going well with over 30knts & a ton plus in distance.
Great to catch SluGger who was on the little sister of my board. Stretchy & Stropo doing their thang and all the rest flying around.
I had one run on the Nm but didn’t follow anyone and didn’t get any big gusts. Much faster just going across the wind chasing some billets into the smooth.
Anyhoo, rinsed and ready to repeat tomoz.
