Poor Man's Albany (Liptons), wind picked up when I'd run out of energy, top GPS Display speed bef wind picked up was 30.5kts then wind picks up 31.0, 31.4 31.9 32.8.  Coulda been on smaller gear when it picked up also.  Lotsa fun.  Carbon Art Custom Slalom 74/121 EVO9 7.0m Pepeweed 28/48. thats 6 mornings I've sailed out of 7, and all easterlies, unheard of here in the Prth/Mandurah region of WA. Guy/Alby/Bruce were out having a ball.

Tabou Manta 71, NP RSR E6 7.8m Pepe awesome weed 22cm

Best sail ever!

Easterly of course because I could sail the wind was a bit lighter than what was torturing me this week but still fun.

Bit of a marathon tacking upwind to Pt Grey, Not qute as flat as imagined nut far from choppy and a nice consistant solid breeze was to be had there, so played up there for a while predominately just going square with a bit of a squirt at each end certainly brought a smile to my face and have accidently let out a woo hoo at one stage.

Last run over there got a couple of holes so decided to head back got a couple of runs at Liptons which was definately flatter just not as breezy.

Stopped by Dawesville had a breif chat with Roger where there was heaps of wind (lot choppier) Roger advised that wind was even stronger further south. May have to investigate this with a pointer.

Awesome way to start the day.

Albany, WA, AU CA 62 mistral speed 95 fangy 22/18 koncept 5.4 Still really low water but consistent breeze and about 15 sailors enjoying the Albany goodness. Had an early finish with arm sore and more sailing to do tomorrow. Bring it on!!!

Liptons, iSo 90, 6.7 Severne wave, Pepe 26/48

Awesome sail in the easterly, with Joseph, Alby and Guy.

Haven’t sailed since early Dec, so this was just a fantastic blast.

Lilacs JP55SL TR16 5.9 FF21speed.

Fun short sail as there was not much water. Borrowed Warricles FF21SP, felt similar to my FF20, I am not competent to assess if it is better in any way.

Great to see lots of people on the water...... and catch up with Simon who I have not seen in a age.

hope there willl be more water tomorrow, was meant to be .5 but was .35 with minus storm surge.

GW60 suggesteda 23 alpha, it did seem optimistic.

Bruce try for a SBP file. If you have a GT31 Turn on GPS, scroll to Data Logger then scroll to sace to card. then look for SBP file

Joseph, I tried what you said re saving to the card and look for SBP file and like magic it’s was there.

I thought the data was never recorded as the SBN file showed 0 kb.

And wow two PBs to boots. Thanks so much.

Great session guys, good hours and alphas slug and stretch. And more PBs Bruce.

Luckily the GT31 has 2 memories, the internal and the card, "saving to card" dumps the internal onto the card. but you have to watch out, the card doesn't start a new file every time the unit is turned on, so it's possible you have multiple sessions there. You need to check that you are only looking at today's numbers. But looking at your distance you should be OK, more than one session would be greater than 24km
