Quite a few big holes out the back which is where most of the wind was. Ended up being quite a nice cruisy day and much better then expected. Not many out but heaps of wing ding-a-lingers which is making for a good obstacle course

Melville Beach, WA, AU.  Been lay'n low the last few days as an old knee issue (oldish buggeritus effecting one knee only) been steadily getting worse over the last few months.  Finally went to physio a few days ago as could hardly walk to the dunny let alone the 5 meters from van to the water but basically ok once on water.  Physio advised basically toughen up princess, gave me a few excercises and sent me on my way.   Had another physio session today and with a slight improvement went straight from physio to rig up as was told the worst thing to do was do nothing.    So spent the sail bascially looking at the dodgy knee and shifting stance to try and follow what physio was saying with regards to good and bad posture so wasn't really that focused and had a couple of weird offs accordingly.  Couldn't get upwind no matter how hard I tried.  Throw in the wonky boom meant lots of rookie clueless potential.  Wind came good in the last 30 mins or so and started enjoying it more and saw a few of the regulars out.   Still, another day in paradise so all is good.  Edit: Tabou Rocket 120, Severne 7.8 M2, Choco 33 weed

Started with an hour but the wind kept dying so abandoned that and sailed back to Melville. Met up with Tim and David and decided to go back out when Terry A arrived after sailing from Peli. The wind was improving so decided to follow Terry back to Peli and it turned out to be a crazy downwinder. Didn't have distance as a target today but it worked out that way so just kept sailing...

Couple of sessions today, got blown out of Shoalwater on the 7.0 NX,98 Falcon 29 ws,,then made a dash for the smoother waters of Liptons and fired up the 53 Patrick on the 7.0 NX,20 ws. Good catching up with crimson Dan and a couple of the Mandurah boyz,,,Nice going Scott,Flex and Reg on the pbs :)

Gusty but very enjoyable sail over the sand bar. Coolish weather and a reasonable breeze makes me glad to be alive in Perth.

Liptons, WA (Wannanup)

Nice session down at Liptons today on the Cruise Missile and 7.8 Loft RB. Was a couple of other WindTechs down there which was good to see, Remery and Barry Sorenson on SB57s. Caught up with Ant who came down for a bit of flat water after some hectic sailing on Shoalwater. Very glad I took the afternoon off work!!
