LG from the Spit, SW to WSW 12 to 25 .

JP92 waveboard with 16 kestral and 4.7 Ezzy wave. didn't feel the mojo for speed gear today even though the 40 was there for the taking.

enjoyed today on the wave gear makes the crappy westerly wind a bit more enjoyable, sailed with james who come out from Cockys too wet for me to drive across. found a good weed bank to run behind, not bad speeds for the wave stuff.

Spotty and another where going out at 4 from the 5mile, man they would have had it bad staight offshore dying wind and no water as had blown into big lake would have been a mud fest getting back in.

LG. yeah i was the the sucker jimbob was refering to. made the 5 hr drive hoping to get 2 good sailing days. plenty of wind but no FWD a few rain showers made cockies a bit dicey and couldnot get to the spit in the van. checked 5 mile a few times but off shore and no other sailers. came back about 3pm then spotty arrived and suggested we might be able to slog throu the mud. Jimbob came back from the spit telling us how good it was.

wind had blown water out  aroung 100m so slogged thru the mud for half an hr to get to deep enough water, sailed for about half an hour dying wind and lot and spent another half hr crawling thru mud to get back. i was exhausted and aching before i got to sail and totally fatigued after returning. ached all over for 4 days, and i was reasonable fit for an old fella.

anyway it was good once i got to the middle of the lake, just waisted too much energy getting there. i wish i had of flagged Jimbob down earlier in the day and begged for a ride to the spit.

isonic 90 6.2 R7 23 vector weed

Well done Red Jimbob and Ash some good numbers there.

Nice going Jimbob. It was a toss-up for me wether to come over there for the WE, but with 3 days of wind here it seemed a lot easier.

It will be interesting to see how Spotty went. Smile
