sboardcrazy (24418km): 18-23kts SSW few stronger patches Buff Pt Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU level 0.37 6.2m M2OD- 80ltre iso- 16.5FF ( cutdown 22) A bit choppier than yesterday. It was harder to find really flat stuff as the level was up and the wind had dispersed the weed bergs a bit. Still fun but tiring. Icey cold wind and 15 degrees. I wore my windjacket over the top of the 3-4-5mm wettie for the am session then a hood after lunch. Pretty powered up with the 6.2m and a few interesting moments.I wore out quickly. I wanted to try for some alphas and got some good gybes. I'm starting to get my shallow water stand at the mast after the flip habit back. The flat areas from yesterday had gone. There was some flat stuff if you were game to play chicken and go through the weedbergs..it was interesting trying to aim for snot weed and dodge the more substantial seagrass matts. I got a few big tugs.. One time I gybed really powered up trying for an alpha and came out fast. I decided I'd probably need to go upwind to keep within the 50m radius so I wedged my rear foot against the rear footstrap. It kicked in to 25kts plus and it was pretty hary.. I wasn't game to try for the rear strap but I really needed to get into it .. A lot of s..t s..t s..t !!! happening. I survived.. Another time I was powered coming out on the exit leg of the alpha and decided to bear away. The chop was too big for me to get decent speeds ( c 10-12cm ) but it was great. This really strong stuff came through and I got stood up and thought I was going to go through the sail.. I managed to get it back together and that was the run I got the 2 sec.. Thought I was done for.. Cripes the weed gets on everything.. I was constantly pulling it off and then the boom would drop in again and get covered immediately.. A lot of walking upwind trying to get above , and dodge weedbeds.. My arms are sore and both elbows have TE. I was hoping for a Lake Macquarie sail tomorrow but we'll see. Pete, Greg, Pugs, Matt , Daffy, Stuart?, Rick, and more. Sorry if I've forgotten anyone. I'm braindead..

Bruce Healey (24088km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Wow, 2 days in a row of good wind in May. Who would have thunk it Casl82, 5.9, 19 fin.

Byron Mcilveen (63644km): Sunshine, NSW, AU s2 venom 7, falcon 115 and 90 select v max best sail in ages I just love sailing with a pointer in chop just epic so happy gear felt amazing in open lake on the gas. pushed the 7 to its limits as it was prety dam windy. 2 100km days in a row body in pain and hand has a blister lets do it again tomorrow time for home brew and spa now.
James Farley (12660km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU Exocet RS6, TR8 7.6, Vmax 43 - Wind SSW 15 knots First sail since early March! Definitely felt pretty rusty and tired. Good fun in the Marmong chop, only Glenn and I crazy enough to venture out. Thanks Lyndon for the lamington, gave me the motivation to get out there while everyone else was spectating from the warmth of the clubhouse

rus13b (5064km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU 7m, 91l,19 tect. first sail since mungo, was quite rusty. great to be out there, was a few light spots but mostly was enough to get going, 15 to 20. matt greg sue & 3 or 4 others out there. a bit cold but not to bad. weed, weed burges & even a few islands of weed, coould sail through it but a few good tugs at times.

Bostonfoil (17127km): Swansea, NSW, AU Fin Nice trip to the ancient, long forgotten speed sailing spot, Naru. Seeking respite from LM's relentless southerly swell(AKA "full on, open lake chop), Muz and I were quickly congratualting ourselves on unearthing such a seemingly billiard table of high fiving PB nirvana. Unfortunately the joy was short lived as the tidal and wind generated chop proved much worse than the shit we were trying to escape! My jaw is still aching. My session ended early when my boom let go on a reach, possibly weakened by a few foiling excursions over the nose recently. This GI thing is taking its toll.
Murray Towndrow (8653km): Swansea, NSW, AU Boston and I went to Naru for something different, from the shore it looked really good, tide was high, still running in and wind angle perfect. On the water it was a different case, really short sharp chop, tide started to turn to runout and it was all over. If only Boston's boom hadn't broken from excessive use I would have sailed longer Has potential I'd only go on a rising tide close to high.
