Good to have a sail with Red, Ash and new teammate Shooting Snail!

Difficult day, lots of gusts, rain squalls and lulls. Couldn't find many flat bits but still had a blast around. Had a couple of big stacks so decided to call it a day.

Not a good day for me. Went out just after squall had come through, wind dropped and was underpowered. Had one long run, then got stranded and could not get back. Spent an hour walking about 2km waist deep water and muddy underfoot. Finally got a gust to get last 3 km back to launch.

Wrong gear selection to start. Re-rigged:

Patrik 92L/59w, Tribal WS 26, Mach2 6.2

Again underpowered when got out. Finally wind picked up again and got a few runs, but water was getting choppy on higher surge tide.

Swan bay ... interesting day... steady 20knots gusting to high 20's on rigging... rigged 5.4 and headed out and got hit by huge squall... sat in water, got pelted with rain.. just struggled to even start... eventually past and settled into 20knots so a tad underdone but still fun... wind started to get lighter till it dropped out completely.. poor Ash got stuck over other side of bay... had an afternoon appointment and after degrigging wind xome up again and saw the lads get a few good runs..
