Albany, WA, AU CA66 Mistral speed 95 TR7 5.9 fangy 21 & 18 Low water getting real low and good wind getting windier. Early start and early finish. Gotta save something for tomorrow. 😀 A good turnout and some good speeds being sailed by the usual virtuosi. Going to be a BIG day tomorrow so I’m saving some 🤘

Morning sail as I thought I'd try to get the best water. Had a lot of fun but couldn't quite get it all together. First hour or so felt alright but as the wind picked up could have done with a bit less sail area. Elbow started to get a bit sore so thought I'd save a bit for tomorrow.

Hopefully everyone who has made the trip down had a fun day Smile

Not sure what happened here, whole sessions got deleted.

Can't rememeber what I said now, but I used the 48cm board with 17cm starboard assy@50deg weedy. (my PB alpha fin) and 5.2 speed. was certainly a blast getting a 38 this year and a top 3 5x10.

A good set of numbers Pete. Three top 5 scores, have to be happy with that.

Low tide is a good excuse for a midday siesta

Well done, Mike. Always an inspiration to us whippersnappers. I hope I can still be adding to my top 5 scores when I am in my mid 70's.

What a buzz, Eating dinner in our Lilacs villa, looking out the window, across the speed strip to the lights of Albany, thinking about more tomorrow. Doesn't get much better than this!

Ahh! A great Albany day al around. Well done everyone. Makes me jelous. Laughing I saw that coming a week ago and it actually crossed my mind to cross the continent for it, Then I came to my senses!! Embarassed

But if it was not for Covid border restrictions I recon Kato and I would have been there anyhow. Tongue out

A special congrats to Mike on that speed which is only just outside his top 10! Cool
