Woody's 28.15 kn alpha is the top alpha internationally so far for 2021.

He has topped every table for the Pinnaroos this year, and is top in every category except nm and distance on the Pinnaroos all time table, which are both held by Boz.

Woody's alpha is 13th on the alll time GPSTC records out of over 1800 sailors internationally, and is 5th on the alll time GPSTC records for Australia out of over 949 sailors.

The only West Australian sailor to have done better is Stroppo, at Liptons with 28.69 kn in March 2013.

The top alpha ever was 30.45 kn by Jaques Van der Hout of the Grevelingen Chop Team in the Netherlands, inJUly 2014.

Woody you are a class sailor. We are proud (and grateful) to have you on our team.

There can be no doubt that in any sport participants rise to standards of their best team players.  Woody, Antman, Boz you are up there with the best in Oz and, it's pretty clear now, that you guys are up there with the best in the world of speedsailing.  It's a complex sport with many disciplines and you guys are brilliant all rounders.  OK, a few well paid professionals do well on artificial courses but you guys go very, very, quick in complex, changing natural environments.  Fantastic.

I think everybody has already said it, but fantastic alpha Mark,with nice back up as well. And PBs Reg, this is the place for them!
