Melville Beach, WA, AU.   Same as yesterday but with better wind. Wind had some holes at the start then died off after about 30mins and was heading back to car park when picked up again without holes so got a nice session in. Had to also share the water with one other sailor but still weird no people out.   Other sailor was a rookie so they spent the entire time in the mindless vortexes next to shore.     They finally worked out to come join me at the end at which time the wind died off so I called it quits.  Same gear as yesterday if anyone cares.

Lilacs Day 2.

Awesome sesh, much better than yesterday.  A bit more water made the sailable area much larger and I managed to squeeze in a good mile.

Looked a bit lighter than Sunday, so rigged my newish 7.0 M3 + 90 Gladiator + 20 Tribal delta.

Nice to be really powered up, the conditions were lovely and pretty consistent.  A few more knots would've been nice, but not complaining it was was of my funnest windsurfs ever.

The new 7.0 is a weapon, felt really good today.

Lilacs is a wicked spot, reckon I'll be back.

We are all envious of you boys that made it down to Albany over the last few days. No matter what the results you are all legends going out on an adventure living the dream and us left back in the real world are so proud of your efforts and results. Well done lads.

Nicely said Richo.

Another impressive and consistent session with big numbers all round.

I did look at coming down to join you but the only accommodation available was at the Hilton at $450 a night, and I don't have the energy to do Albany as a day trip.

To all you guys who get to zoom around carefree in Albany whilst the rest of the world are drinking and eating large volumes of stuff and watching the f+*&%4g cricket....you are very lucky!  Even speed sailors in Holland think you are blessed cuz I've talked to them.  Even "Bjorn again Dunking chair" thinks you are fortunate, so mop it up and enjoy.  Just have a thought for us less fortunates who have children and other obligations that we feel obliged to service and those of us of a less firm constitution who'd like to but cannot.  Do it for us guys and enjoy and very, very, well done!!  And particularly well done Pointmen.  Sailing FREE in Albany must be like heaven after all your efforts at Pelican Point....the bumpiest place in the universe.
