1437 days ago 2 categories Liptons, forecast never delivered so lots of frustrated windsurfers, though enough wind for a bit of fun, beats working

Last day of the year (thank fark for that) last sail for the year (Yay I think)
Wind looked a lot more than was there in reality was rather underwhelming most of the time.
Hopefully everybody has a great 2023.

Haha, if you've seen the previous posts ... I left the motion on in the car and turned it off outside the Dawesville bottle shop.

Decrepit (56169km):
1437 days ago Arrived at Liptons to find wind picking up, so looked like there could be enough for the 5.2 and the 43cm board. So took a gamble on it happening. Stuck the 17cm@50de deltoid in and shoved a pole up the 5.2 speed. Wind wasn't picking up as quick as I hoped to fitted the 19cm deltoid in the 48cm board.
I was only going on that in the gusts, plenty of wallowinf otherwise, so took the 55cm out. This was much better, but I was still very underpowered.
Should have taken Rocky's advice and rigged the 6.2. But I was ever hopeful the wind would actually kick in.
