Andrew Haigh (50238km): Coal Point, NSW, AU Stingray, Whisperer and 5.8 NE 15-23. A great start to the year, another strong NE. Again loads of people out. Sailed up to Marmong were at least 10 guys were out racing. Couldn't believe how little wind there was up there. Perhaps I got there at a bad moment
Murray Towndrow (8653km): Belmont Bay (Slipways), NSW, AU Slalom foil 800 wing 7.9 sail Good choice opposed to fin, but came in a bit strong in the end but mostly 14 - 18 upto 20knts to close Belmont bay nice and flat compare to yesterday no boats Foil PB
Tibor (18017km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU
Well..well...not as good as they promised. Imagining there's more to come l have rigged my high wind 7 m. I couldn't get going till l got a good gust. Anyway, had fun with my buddies.
The sail went well once it got in the air. Otherwise, l only used my GTR with the 800 front.

GeoffS (8069km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU Another good breeze at Marmong. Some racing with the boys. Been so long since we had racing and the weather played ball. A good crowd there Tibor, Baz, Lyndon, Cluffy, Bear, Tony, James, and few others who have been turning up each day of the holidays. My best effort for at least 7 or 8 months.

Byron Mcilveen (64411km): Bonnells Bay, NSW, AU s2 venom 7, falcon 115, select v max 37 big day sailing upwind to the sand islands it was cranking there way too much board the 90 would have been nice. scary downwinder home over juiced. sailing all by myself in unreal conditions pretty sad realy.
Bruce Healey (24292km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU yesterday didn't look windy but was so when today didn't look windy we knew to rig small. Bad move, I blame old pete for not being there to be crash test dummy. CASL82, 19 fin, 6.2 sail.
James Farley (12722km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU Exocet RF91, TR8 7.6, Starboard Race 1000 - Wind ENE 12-15 knots Another nice noreaster at marmong, day 3 for me and body starting to feel it! Had some fun races with the club guys then stayed out afterwards as the wind built up nicely. Pretty much carbon copy of Thursday but a few more lulls so used the bigger front wing today. Happy new year to everyone.
Ian Wright (16360km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU Had enough wind and sailors to set a course. Thanks to Brian for maning the boat starting the races, 5 or 6 off I think and a few different winners. Wind was a variable 10-15 E/N/E and became quite gusty and stronger N/E later . HWR , Severne HGO 8m , SB Al+ 800. Note. The tracks up the middle will be while in the boat retrieving marks. I certainly don,t point that high or go deep downwind.
sboardcrazy (25098km): 15-23kts NE 7th ave Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU level 0.22 Sailed 3 -5 pm 6.2m M2OD - RS2 ( 90ltres) 21.5cm FF ( cutdown fangy 24cm) Same as yesterday except a bit patchier. My aim was more gybe practise so I rigged the smaller sail and the 80iso with a new Atomic 20 fin. The fin needs sanding and the back was 3mm out of the box. The wind was only 17-20kts which is more like the top end of the 7m - 90. Watching the others I could see it was bit patchy so I decided to go with the larger board , small sail, big fin option. The FF gets me upwind great , planes early and I can stomp on it even subplaning. I figured the Atomic would prefer to be well powered. It ended up being a good choice. I think the 80 would have been a bit of a pain in the patchy conditions. I was really tired from yesterday and could hardly be bothered gybing but once I got into it I found my second wind. Finally! I got lots of planing gybes. Still lots of work. I tend to stand up on the rig change which isn't an issue in flatwater but will be in big chop. A few other issues too. I think I'm trying to fix too many things at once and just need to focus on one at a time. I decided while I was trying for gybes I may as well go for alphas. I'm still getting used to Andrew's datafields..After 3/4hr I realised that if the track was red I was probably well outside the 50m and it probably wasn't worth pushing up after the exit... I need to learn where to gybe to get the best alphas. Often if I was within the 50m the wind on the exit was patchy and if I was well powered I'd be too wide..I was hoping for a 20kt one ( got one at 60m) but pretty happy with the one I got. I haven't done that many gybes since Lake George and the arms were complaining last night.. I need a few more sessions in the flat as they are still not automatic ..I bet they go to pack out in the chop.. I did a few bearaways at the end. Budgys a hell of a lot of fun when it blows! We need an anemometer on a pole in the flats.. Plenty out once again I only saw people from a distance . I saw Matt, Bruce and Loic.
