978 days ago Lyttelton Harbour, Started on the foil but ended up on the fin. Same sail used. Overpowered on the foil and underpowered on the fin. Wind was to north and gusty. Had a another session on the estuary but that wasnt any better at all. Good day on the water. shame the wind was so patchy. JP 135, FF 79, LRB 6.3, 725/105/255@-0.5, C3 34

Pete (16584km):
978 days ago Christchurch Estuary, NZ ..Morning and evening sail on the estuary. Very enjoyable sail on flat water in the morning with my favourite rig, should have quit whilst I was ahead, was quite uncomfortable in the evening trying a different sail that I find very difficult to trim and also with a bit too much lift off my fin.
CA 82L/56W, Severne M4 7.0, Tribal 18 ..in the morning
CA 82L/56W, Point-7 AC-Z 6.8, Drake 32 ..in the evening

978 days ago 1 categories Lyttelton Harbour, MikezV1 135 foilboard, FF 900, NCX 6.5, rather gusty and lumpy and was overpowered quite a lot, especially on the downrun but was determined to see how far up the harbour I could get, so I needed the power. Scary stuff as the swells increased and was wondering how the downrun was going to go. Really challenged myself and survived it! All alone up there too. Was quite a buzz and then coming back down the wind increased in strength after I got below Diamond Harbour. Was really fin conditions apart from the big hole coming into the ramp but by this time I was cold.
