Lyttelton Harbour, On the fin today in light patchy conditions. Too messy to foil with the swell and wind against the tide. Made a rather soupy mess but a lot of fun charging through considering i was never powered properly. Once again i should of rigged bigger...but i wont. Even if im underpowered, FF 79, LRB 6.3, C3 34

Christchurch Estuary,                                                                                                                                                                                    Once again not a lot of wind but a nice sailing session and something of a record for me for distance lately.                                                                SL68, NCX7.5, T38/2 fin

I was sailing from 1715 onwards Mike, around the time the chop started to back off - My Tribal weed fin is terrific for its intended purpose, but its a bit of a mission in chop, have to sail it flat, can't really rail ride it - It's not impossible - Buts its not a practical solution in chop. ..On the other hand, my 2sec/high, my Alpha, and all my 5x10's are in weed. I can keep sailing almost as long as the last kitesurfer, and I was still scraping over 28/29 knots after 1900 local and in dense weed.
