Coodanup, WA, AU. Looked promised when set off as dial was reading 25knots.   Arrived to zero wind, sun and Boz snoozing.   Rigged the big gear for something to do as was looking like a full skunking.   Way too much north in the wind so big wind shadow and even way out very dirty wind...got going once but looked bleak.   Came in and teleconference with the Antman...."totally coming in", "gonna hit any second", "just wait, I see it com'n, I'm on my way" he says   Hmmm.  All the dials were red or going red. A slight rustling in the trees so I went out again....Bammm, it hit, one moment was chug'n, next moment was totally out of control, fin spining out madly and no way to hold the power.  For some mad reason did two laps but came in to downsize.   Boz, still not convinced watched me rig 7.0.   Seemed about right and got into the pond and got one ok run in but still lots of north in wind which meant main run not in play.   Then wind kicked right up and was overcooked and on the wrong side of pond, managed to keep sailing back but by the time I got to the run near the board walk there was no grunt left and the brief gust had gone. Wind had now swung more west so the main run was in play but no power..   Saw Boz sail trying to enter pond but kept disappearing so thought having some tech issue and giving up so headed home.  Met Boz in the channel sailing up and stopped for a chat which was a mistake as was sailing full down wind and hard to restart.   Then met the Antman in carpark just heading out...hope those guys had head torches.  iSonic97, KAR 7.0, FF22 (light wind iSonic 117, Sv Turbo 8.6, FF18 GL)

Coodanup, WA, AU No crashes😁 Bit of a wait for the wind but eventually arrived, flex coming out of the pond and me entering around 3:30, couple runs and Antman joins. Was looking promising watching ant on one with a nice gust, probably his quickest run. Pity as from there a bit downhill with the wind. Looked like was going to be a walk out of the pond but managed one gust taking me 3/4 the way of the channel, short walk to the other side and managed to snag a bit more wind to sail to the car park, ant wasn’t so lucky a bit of a walk

Melville Beach, WA, AU

Desparate sail on the new 98ltr AV. Wind very average but keen to see how the AV rides. Different to the 98ltr Tabou but feels like it'll be a faster board.

The Tabou was my goto board but now ive sold it im looking forward to some good times on the AV.

AV 98ltr   6.9 R/Blade  31WS
