918 days ago 2 categories Coodanup, WA, AU. Arrived with Boz for the am session. Made a dogs breakfast of rig up of second run with the 6.3. Borrowed Boz's RDM cams as the previous session with SDM felt weird. Then managed to pull the pulleys out of the extension. Made another blunder but didn't notice it till end. Finally got going and was nicely powered, sail was feeling heaps better thanks Boz, sun was out and was farily cruisey but wind direction not ideal. 360 mount decided to snap early on so not many action shots. Antman, Stretch, Crimson Flash joined in along with a few fresh faces from last Sunday. Wind picked up a notch and slightly better angle. Stopped for a chat and noticed I hadnt't put the mast into the top plug so decided to head back to either fix or call it. Noticed a pair of characters in the bird hide with cameras watching the action and arrived to car park to be greeted by a love letter (windsurf hate mail) left on the windscreen wiper. The ever keen Gloria had been out too. The afternoon crew of Richo and Slowy arrived, the wind seemed to change up a gear and I headed home to redesign the gopro mount. Antman was on a mission, should post some big numbers. iSonic97, 6.3 KAR, FF22

Early start at the Chook with Boz and Flex.Plenty of wind but the wrong angle for flat runs along the bank.Got a lucky gust as Stretch enterd the scene and got my best run.Good to see the Crimson Flash make an appearance :) When the wind finally swung for flat runs along the bank i had burned myself out, managed a couple of runs on the better angle that were joy..Got back to the car park to meet the afternoon shift ready to roll,Richo, slowboat and the pointman.. Powerd by the 5.4SCR,47 Mistral,22 ws.

918 days ago Late arvo mission to the Chook Pond with Richo and Slowy for company.
My first trip to the Chook Pond, and whilst it didn't really fire today, it was a fun little mission, and I'm keen to have another crack in better wind.
Rigged the 90 Gladiator + 27 Tribal weedy + 7.0 M3.
Combo was about right in the variable conditions.
Lots of waiting around for gusts, but found a few fun ones and scored some nice runs down the bank.

Arrived as the boys were getting out of the water around 2pm and the wind looked strong so i rigged up the 5.6. Slowy turned up so i knew id have some company. On entering the pond the wind dropped and i thought its to much effort to head back to the car and rig my 6.3 which was my only other option so i had my fingers crossed the wind would pick up at some point before dark. SLowy entered the pond on a 7mtr and was getting some nice runs then Greg on a 7mtr and i was thinking this is not looking good for me on a 5.6 and 75ltr board. A few good gust but never powered up until a 30 knt squall hit with hail thunder and lightning. The board was trying to get airborn and vision was down to about 30mtrs so i decided to take cover under the sail until it passed. Then the wind dropped and greg and i had to walk out but noticed slowy fanging out through the channel on the tail of the squall. Nice to be on the water but a bit frustrating.
