Fangy's coodanup, frontal gusty breeze 12 to 30kts, Tried my new slalom board out RRD 90 v11, need to learn to dial it in. But had fun, big crowd out, heard quite a few guys got 40's.

Short but fun session at Fangys. Plenty of blowins launching through the gravel pit. I had Wamba St to myself.

I just had to go with the 48 today regardless, but happily conditions were good for it, plugged the 5.7 speed and the 18cm @50 into it.

Just a tad too choppy for me to be comfortable with a dedicated smooth fin. Probably could have got away with m 20 @ 40/60 on the outer weed bank, may have been a bit faster, who knows?

Slowy was out on a new tribal, 65cm I think he said, matched with a 7.0 (I guess KA Race) and a 20cm fin.

Kato, damaged his 40cm speed board.

I didn't think I'd overdone it yesterday, but soon ran out of oomph today, started to get cold, as well as tired, so called it quits. Soon after the tide fell, weed started poking it's head out, and there looked to be some long smooth runs. Looked very tempting, but didn't have the energy or will to don a wet wetsuit and have another go. I had a feeling that the wind was dying, and I'd probably not go any faster.

So here's the proof of the pudding, it was choppy.

My speed graphs are usually fairly smooth, here I have 2kt variations in my best 2s run.  This is my head bouncing around. If I had teeth, they would have been rattled out!
