701 days ago Albany, WA. Perfect conditions. M95, M2 6.2, TD18. Had wanted to work on alphas after getting lots of tips from Mike, and started with that. Ended up beating my old PB (from 4 years ago here in Albany) at least 5 times. Nice to meet Ron, whose enthusiasm was infectious, so had to add some speed runs for a couple more PBs. Tried one nauti run but that did not feel quite right, so left that for tomorrow. Was ready to stop but Nina was unhappy with her speed and wanted to keep going, so added an hour at the end. Did not have a watch, though, so guessed how long I had to go, and ended up with one wet jibe at the start that cost me 0.2 knots. Just one more run back and forth with two dry jibes would have been enough to beat Boro's hour ... some other time maybe. Quite happy with 4 PBs, and happy for Nina who smashed her alpha PB to grab the #1 spot for women's alpha.
