698 days ago Peel Inlet, WA. Great ending to this part of our trip - it's off to Lake George tomorrow. Pt Grey was interesting and quite different from Coods and Albany - cool to have three top speed spots so close together. The rigging tips from Chris definitely helped to get 3 runs above 38 knots today - big thanks. Since it looked quite windy and was predicted to get windier, I almost rigged a 5.5 today, but Stroppo's advice to go for the 6.2 instead was spot-on - the 5.5 would have been too small when I was still fresh. Towards the end, it became a handful in gusts, but I was getting tired by then.
Wonderful to share the water again with so many top level speedsurfers, and to benefit from their advice. Between the great spots and the friendly top level sailors happy to share their knowledge, it's no surprise that there are so many very fast speedsurfers here! What a blast!
