BIG FAIL!! Did it all wrong.

rigged miles too small, Nina said she was getting lifted with a 5.5, so I rigged the 4.7 to be nice and comfortable during an hour attempt. Should have used the 5.7 on the 55, instead of the 48. First run upwind was good, nicely powered, but after that things went down hill. weed montser episode in a big lull and failed gybe. Not enough wind to water start. Was tiring myself out and not getting anywhere, so a long downwind run back, to change up and have lunch. Half way through setting up the 55 board Monday's curry attacked me, with the consequent need to retire home for a nice hot shower. After that I took the hint, and had a nice nana nap. To top the day off, Peter's just appeared with a PB hour. I guess that's windsurfing.

And guess who left the GPS on for the drive home, guess I was just in a hurry to get to the shower.

But this does show the drive to cockies quite nicely, and the great spot Peter and Nina came up with for our residence.

Lake George, SA, AU CA 66 & 58 KAR 5.5 Koncept 5.0 Pepe 19.5 delta Wind all day and increased in the afternoon. Distance day for me today and only my dismal gybes and selection of board and sail combinations slowed the pace. Started with the CA66 and 5.5 for the first hundred before lunch and then made the mistake of rigging the 5.5 on the m95 for distance 🤨and of course stuffed about eight gybes in a row 😡I did what I should have done and rigged the CA58 and gybe problem fixed. The wind picked up at afternoon tea time so I changed down to the 5.0 and it was a sweet ride. I came in and after second afternoon tea went out but the wind had dropped and I was dredging so called it. A pity as I still had a little bit left in the tank. Got the pb hr on the 58/5.0 combo. Nice They are going to have to put clear panels in the luff sleeves of the new race sails as the restricted vision has caused a couple of near misses when there are so many on the water

Great stuff Peter, that's what my session was supposed to look like, sorry I didn't back you up!

Interesting you did so well on the 5.0, my 4.7 may have worked with the bigger board.
