It's been long overdue for a sail so it was nice to get back out there. Didn't get very fast speeds but it was still good fun.

6.3 SCR, 53 Patrik speed with 22 weed speed.

Bit of power on a couple runs, was good catching up with the dawn patrol Richo,Woody,Kai, Ant and Rob from the MOB. Pity as sun rose wind backed off still a few nice puffs.

An early start with wind in the dark...until the sun rose and the wind dropped off. A few nice gusts but nothing past 25kts. Nice to try a few alphas after months of neglect and get a top speed on the opposite tack than normal against the bank.  So lots of chatting with top blokes waiting for a few gusts. Always a great experience sailing with Richo, Boz, Ant and Kai. Amazing birdlife to enjoy as always with 4 huge Pelicans flying only 15-20m away gliding like planes and some type appearing to race with me! I lost of course. Amazing.  Great fun session. Nice work, Lads! Alphas are pretty slick given the lack of practice lately

Glad you chaps got advantage of the brief gusts. Will join you soon.  Ya, Woody, that bird life is half why I sail, they seem to sense some sort of affinity to us windsurfers and want to hang out.

Looks like the early birds got the worm. Nice speeds and very nice alphas.
