More power than expected today - started with the 72.5 but the 62 was more comfortable in the gusts.
Good to see Kevin getting back into it.

A little cool, but otherwise a perfect day at Coodanup with a big bunch of friends.
My best session, speed and distance since Late Jan. Surprised I managed 38 km with so little sailing recently.

420 days ago Coodanup, WA, AU. More faffing than sailing today but with plenty out enjoying the sunshine. Picked up the board Elmo has kindly dontated for mad science experiments, then went looking for Fangy to deliver his new weapon. Couldn't find him but noticed the boss rigging up in a different spot I'd not launched at so decided to launch there to try it out. Was intrigued by the A14W 'Enterprise' success in Albany so wanted to test further in more moderate conditions. Didn't seem enough wind for the small board with lots of sailors chugging so went with Elmo's 102 board. Unlike Albany the fin slid sideways a lot and was a struggle to get going. Perservered for a while but was a struggle so cut my losses and came in to change. Now the fin seemed stuck in the board so instead of strugging further trying to change fins went out on the big board and the FF18V4 as tide seemed pretty low. About 1/2 way to the pond side the wind seemed to increase and this kit was too sketchy in the minor chop so after one lap came in again to switch to the small board. This was much better and had a nice but short sail. iSonic 86, KAR 7, FF18V4

A short session after work. Missed the best of it but at least I got wet! Looks like the crew at Coods had a good time. Nice work all.

Great to sail in decent steady wind finally. Thanks for the lend of the gsp watch Ant but it's got water in it and cut my 2sec from 41kts and Alpha from 30.5! Best I use mine next time! FMX 98 Evo12 6.

420 days ago Powered up foil on the Swan.
Initially went past Rockingham Beach, but it booted to 25-30K on the Sound, and I hadn't packed the 5m, so I retreated to the relative safety of Melville Water.
Still plenty of big hairy arsed gusts coming through, and the Hydro 91 + 650 wing + 6.0 combo was a handful at times, but about right overall.
Tiring session with the extreme gustiness, and cold AF, my fingers were frozen by the end of the sesh, and I had to thaw them out in the car heater before I could derig
Spewing I didn't pack the 5, but I'm sure it well get used plenty this season
