Hampton, VIC, AU

Fanatic Stingray 140L; 1400 Redwing Foil; 5.8 Duotone F-Type.

It was a really fun session. Started out just right but quickly became waaay overpowered. Decided to stay out and see how it went. Turned out to be kind of challenging but also good fun. Some interesting gybes where I had some cool saves I couldn't quite believe I got around and did some kind of unintentional no-hands heli-gybe Tongue out etc. A lot of it I was hardly sheeted in and just concentrating on riding the swells. Was good to water-start today instead of up-hauling and getting irritated too. Probably could have been on the 4.0.

The F-type was very good. Bought it on a whim because SHQ had it new for a heavy discount and I could not for the life of me find a severne foil glyde that size new or used. Needed a bit more outhaul to make the bottom "fake-camber" change over easily. Might play with downhaul more next time.   Good times!

Albany, WA, AU

5.2 Speedster, 92 & 78 JP Slaloms

Took the bigger board for gybe practice but was a bit too big and had a gnarly stack heading into a gybe that had me seeing stars. Went down to the 78 and had a lovely cruisey arvo. So inspiring to see Waricle back out there on one knee and one lung still executing silky smooth gybes 😎
