Sammy the snail (29353km): Albany, WA, AU Bloody slow Snail again, hit the 38 wall this morning and could not go higher even the wind came strong, measure 30knt on the beach!!! My bad, I should have rig the 5.0 and used the 47 but I could not be stuffed. Little disapointed with my Alpha as I was trying again today!! I need to get my shit together, Im not happy being the slow snail Oooh well better that a kick in the face. Great to catch up with Mr Slow, Morts and The Slug which I havent seen in years. Off course ALL the usual suspects was here bleeding the course, like no one is working lol Still good training, sleeping in the van in the bush tonight, who knows, maybe some wind in the morning. Happy days Herby, RSR5.4, CLSW16 | ||||||||||||||||||
Morts (16110km):
KAR 5.2, Tribal 53W + TD 16
Big crew out today blasting around with some great numbers by the fast guys, happy to improve a little. Kit felt good when the wind booted as best speeds came after 3 but still a bit of a slow poke. Probably should have tried a couple more NM runs during that period.
Tomorrow at work everyone will be bitching about the shit Albany weather & I'll get told to F@#* off (again) when I say it was great

Elmo (31521km): JP Speed, 6.4m & 7m Tribal Delta 16cm & 18cm How to describe today??? Better than working! Better than 42ºC in Mandurah! Sailing with a great bunch of people. Yes that will do. First run peak speeds went backwards from there, last run down the naughty with the 6.4 sailed one handed upright weaving down the run as there was nothing better to do. Changed to the 7.0, realistically not much better, got stung in the foot by a devil fish on the way up to top of the run right where footstrap sits, naughty was crap did a couple of squirts couldn't line things up so not speed worth mentioning. Interesting things that happened today Think I kicked a Port Jackson Shark hiding in the weed at the top of the run (that was tha very "manly" shriek Simon). Almost got T Boned on the way out of Albany when some dickhead coming out of a side street on the other side of the road was trying to beat the oncoming traficwas keeping a very close eye on the oncoming trafic to his right and didn't notice the blue 4WD towing the dirty great trailer until he was almost imbedded, me throwing car viciously to the left and testing ABS, DH also testing ABS ended up parked in the middle of the road stopping the trafic he was hoping to avoid. Could've spat on his windshield if my window was down and I wasn't in the process of shitting myself. And the Mornington Road claims another car with a range rover embedded in one of the roadside jarrah's with the Harvey fire dept in attandance.
Hope everyone appreciates my sacrifice of leaving at 2 so the wind could come in properly
Congrats to Jeremy and Simon on the PB's, nice work fella's |
