Powered up foil at Rocko in a solid 20-25K sea breeze.

I was fully lit on the Hydro 91 + 6.0 + 650 wing.

I actually contemplated going in to change down to the 5.0, which would have been sweet in the gusts, but Lunny kept going on his 6.0, so I had a teaspoon of cement and got into it.

Nice to have some company today, with Lunny sharing my sesh.  He smoked me of course, but I'm pretty happy with my numbers for today.

It's always nice to crack a 20K+ hour, and this one was well-earned!

Cruisey Day out at Coodanup. Realised my 11knt Hourly was to good to be true, but other than that I am super happy about my Pbs. Jp Freestyle wave, 3.6 NP Fly HD. Bit sketchy in the chop in the chanel spun out once, forntunately I was able to recorrect it and didn't come a cropper. Lovely to see, Rob, Mike, Remery, Marie and Mark, Anita, Anita's rubber ducks, and others. 🍄

Had a 53 wide sppedboard to try, with KA Race 5.5 but wind did not want to play.

Changed to 105 Rocket, at least I could get planing and had a few goes at gybing the KA Race - never sailed one before.

Good to see Anita going well.

Port beach - 920 and "new" to  me 4.0m Ezzy Wave (2008 model). Very nice day out, too weedy everywhere else anyway.

Carlisle St, Safety Bay. Went down to give Coodanup a go Sunday arvo but looked pretty average and didn't bring the right fin anyway, so went back to Safety Bay where the wind came in nicely late afternoon and ended up sailing on my own with a couple of kiters till nearly sunset. Fox95/WS33/Moto6.4

iS111, 7K, 22FF lightwind 12 - 14 kn at the beginning (underpowered) 16 - 18 in the end (overpowered)

I made a 19 kn alpha today, which is a second best for me, so I am happy, especially considering the max speed during the gybe was only 23 kn. I am definitely improving, transitions are smoother and my minimum speeds are increasing. Three of my top 5 alphas have been in the last month. Thanks for the coaching Maree! I feel that 20 kn alpha is close now.

Edit: sadly a low speed catapult on the first run of the day (fin hit the bottom) resulted in a stress fracture in my foot, so no windsurfing allowed for 6 weeks. Maybe that 20 knot alpha is not so close after all...
