Jeff (13909km): ![]() Port beach - 3.7m was too big. they had left the beach closed signs up which was a bit confusing. Asked the clubby and he said it was open so went for it.
Gloria (1131km): Coodanup, WA, AU. Thought I might have done better....but happy that I managed to hold on in that breeze with a 5.5 sail! Very bouncy. Lovely day out though... counted 23 cars parked at bird hide end and Fingers at Wamba street. Great people, wonderful sport....couldn't be happier. Out of action now for the next few weeks...🙁
Finback (1609km): Coodanup, WA, AU 8.6m Severne, Tribal 88ltr, Tribal 20cm 1st day on new Tribal 88 super comfortable in chop.
The Shroom (820km): ![]() Another day out at the land of speed. Really choppy and super sketch, And oh the gear I had to fetch. Some flatwater did I ever need.
Saw Gloria and others out and about. Said hello to Pete, and continued skimming on the water. A crash was near, I knew I was near the slaughter. Dodged the crash with out a doubt.
Finally made it up past the dead tree. Turned around and got up and planing, Did it effortlessly without failing. Just looking out over the choppy sea.
Alas, as it inevitably ends. Admired by all, a great speed crash. Skimming on the water, ending in a splash. What you hurt really depends.
Overpowered with your gear, as it always goes. Ripped out of your hands again and again, Nothing ever works, frustration is a strain. Yelling at your gear in the windsurfing throes.
Waterstarting was the only way. In the trusty old harness, and in the straps. Great joy, but sadness strikes as no one ever claps. Thus, my windsurfing shall continue for another day.
Last run in, chop feet high, my board bouncing around. My harness was quite sketchy pulling, and tugging, Harness fling near, you want to be with your family hugging. The mast and the boom all hit me at once, what a spectacular sound.
A big shout out to Anita for her grape giving skills. They are juicy, and tasty with a hint of freshness, Their taste is oh so precious. And their size really fills.
A pb or two, and the mighty near winded cough. I end this poem with great pain and sadness, I hope pleases all with great gladness. Anway I am off!!!🍄
Windxtasy (14541km): Manta 54 speed with 18 delta, spunout, changed to 22 Ff, then 47 Mistral with 20 FF. 6.2 Koncept. Wind 15 -18 kn with gusts to 25 Fun in the sun at Coodanup with a big crew. Rising tide dispatched most of the flat water but still heaps of fun and a good workout. I was hoping for a bit more speed but ran out of energy to get to the flats toward Boundary Island.
fingers (1268km): Coodanup, WA, AU Coodanup today, lots of wind and windsurfers but not many smooth spots except for the area south of the dead trees used the 54 tabou speed board most of the afternoon, until i decided to try the 88 lt tribal i found it to be beautifully balanced and stable across the wind as soon as i started to go off the wind the board took off and i could not control it so i crashed my son Darryl was a big help always encouraging me to try new things and go faster

Snickers (15008km): ![]() Coodanup, WA, AU Wife has covid and I'm definitely coming down with something so I tried to kep away from everybody. Feeling very lethargic before and after but not soo bad when on the plane. Happy with the hour considering there was a dropped gybe. Still no great speed from me. Good to see some others have a bit more success. is76, Koncept5.8, Tdelta18
Ricey (11089km): Coodanup, WA, AU Tried Mistral 73 with 16 delta for the first time; hard going upwind but great on speed run. Changed to Xfire 90 with 18 delta: much eaier to go upwind but not so fast and much more bouncy on speed run. Both 5.4 Koncept. Very happy I came off with no injury. Good to see Anita, Kevin and Darryl and meet Maree who gave me some speed tips - next time!

Pointman (27265km): ![]() Liptons. On the water late, around 5, and it was nuking, but there was no smooth to play in. Windtech 57 + 6.3 SCR + 27 WS was lit in the middle of the channel, but not enough pressure at Point Grey for speed (I was only getting 34s), so I tried for runs in Liptons corner, which was slightly better (36s). So, not a great Liptons sesh, I was either getting smashed in the channel, or undercooked on the bearaways. Probably should've gone to Coods.
