Kyeemagh for a few runs then I went well past the end so thought I might as well keep going, all the way to Kurnell where I saw Baz in the distance and picked up Tim for the run back to the beach. Foils are great, I could make it in one tack!
Blasting with the boys on iQ, they had much better depth downwind but if I went less deep I could equal their VMax with pure SPEEEEED!!
Then I lined up a few Of the boys down the runway. Mitch, Tim and Fez were all fast in the smooth water and gusts but I could keep up or pass them all… especially easy in the lulls the foil just keeps gliding past. The gear (and practice) has come a long way. I felt mostly stable even on 10s 29kt runs!!
