SRS73 (16662km): Boundary Island, Peel Estuary, WA, AU Fun day in the pond with the usual crew. I didn't make the most of the bigger gusts but happy with the progress on the new speed board. Everyone seemed to be enjoying the conditions with some top numbers. iSonic 52, SV M4 5.5, Tribal WSP 23
Snickers (13575km): Coodanup, WA, AU Arrived to find Tim in the car park grinning from ear to ear after scoring a very nice PB. Congrats! Great arvo in the pond with Scott, Greg back on the slapper and the usual WA speed team and Rob for company for the afternoon shift. Pond was fantastic, just needs to be a bit longer, best spot was behind the island at the north end but I had a few stacks trying not to run into the samphire bank. Tide was dropping which made bearing away into the middle a bit more accommodating which helped with a couple of 38's. Thought I might have a 5X10 PB but missed it by 0.03knots. Still had a few pond bests. First proper session on the mistral speed 73l. Different but great when powered up. All in all, a fantastic way to enjoy mother nature. mistral47wide, KA Koncept5.0, 23cmweedy
Pointman (25522km): Coodanup, WA, AU Chook pond mission with the usual suspects Fark it was windy. Fully stacked at times on the Windtech 57 + 6.3 SCR + 27 WS combo. It was OK on the run, but hard work punching upwind. Took me a while to find my Mojo, been ages since I had a sesh on the fin, but once I sussed out the line it was game on with a few 38s. I called it after 2 hours, but the crew were still charging, and the tide was dropping, so there could have been bigger things to come, but I was tin fruited. Fun sesh. Good to see the crew going hard (massive PB by Tim ) And great to feel max power again!
