Second sail in an awesome gusty offshore SW with Jayden and Ronnie. Limited room this trip. Have really missed my small slalom and haven't had enough wind for the speedy. Not many days left. Today didn't look like enough, but I knew it would be my only faint hope of getting one sweet run on the speedy this season. I decided to crack out a cammed sail and just stand around in hope for the chance to have one run. I really really really love that board.

It wasn't pretty. There was probably more walking than sailing, a lot of floundering and many failed starts. Something stung me on the ass like a red hot poker. But I finally scored enough to get up and got my one sweet run for the summer. One run Nic is back 😂

Better check my file Captain because no one is going to believe this one 😂

thats nuts Salty.  Super congrats.  Almost same speed as the local dog, which says a lot..and way better than me by a long shot.     Reminds me of my old climbing days, the girls always had less strength but better technique and could pretty much outclimb the guys except for the really hard core stuff requiring pure power.  I'm new to this sport but pretty sure pilot is about 80% responsible for speed and gear is secondary.  Hopefully you and the few other ladies out there will inspire a younger generation to take up the sport.
