3 days ago Coodanup, very enjoyable sail. My Simmer Slalom board 96 L 62cm wide is so much more enjoyable than my Nude Streaker 80/54 speed board. Probably part of the aging process, easy to ride and not so much straining, end result much lower inflammatory response. Good to catch up with some of my GPSTC friends.

Back to work sure as eggs the wind comes in.
Short session today, thought I was dealing with the conditions reasonably well for what they were, Huey had other ideas, got hit by a bigger than normal gust, got launched head first into the luff tube of my sail, stayed hooked in managed to collect a number of other unknown items on the way down to the water.
Result, tear in luff tube, sore neck (other than situation normal) bruised nose, ribs, knee and ego. Gunna feel it tomorow.
Oh well, sail panel beating tomorow

Forgive me Elmo for I have sined, I drove straight past Lumpies. At first I thought that was a big mistake as conditions were crap, I wasn't having fun at all and was thinkng of beers with my wingman, then the wind booted in and it was happy days. After awhile the wind dropped abit and I wasn't going any better, so with beers on my mind I called it a day, then it really started to blow but with enthuisian at zero and too lazy to rig smaller my day was done. Best bit was catching up with heaps of sailers I haven't seen for a long time.

3 days ago 1 categories  Coodanup WA AU CA63 LRB 7.0, 5.6 Pepe delta 19. Sunny light to strong breeze as the afternoon progressed. Sailed with Gloria and a fine bunch of gentlemen sailors. Couldn't find my speed or alpha, must have left them at home with my NM &HR😁 Started too early, by the time the wind filled in I was done. Enjoyed catching up with everyone and some pleasant sailing.
