Coodanup, WA, AU

I went out early to take.advantage of the low tide, came in to change to a bigger fin and the surf lock was jammed.

Not quite a goldilocks day, wind was good water was good, but not quite at the same time!

Enough wind for the small board for a change, so plugged in the 18cm starboard assy and the 5.0 speed.

Found it easy enough to get the 48 going, although shoulders are feeling it now.

Eventually found a patch of flattish water, but by then the wind had dropped, only had the one nicely powered run.

I may have been better off with the 5.8, who knows.

Lots of company, good WA speed team turn out as usual. Peter and Nina's first sail this trip.

JP FSW 107, NP Alpha 5.8m, JP Weed 31cm.

After getting my arse handed to me last week thought I'd drag out the wave gear and give that a run.

After much faffing around it turned out to be the right descision.

Twas full on knee to waist very close together junk, no wave lines more just vertical faces everywhere.

Surprised with the speed (found a flatish spot near the end of the boat ramp)

One big off which I saw coming so was able to control it a bit til I couldn't, the result a nice egg on my right foot, pretty certain theres nothing broken just going to get some nice technicolor on it.

Mary Kissmyarse everyone, hoping you and all your families have a great day tomorow.

A great day at Coodanup. For me the best part, was sitting and watching the Shroom send it.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Coodanup, WA, AU M95 LRB5.6 tws 25 Sunny, windy and a bit choppy with the highish tide. Great turnout of sailors and a festive vibe. Called it after a couple of runs down the NM as my knee couldn’t take the slam of the chop sending it so didn’t get good numbers. Had a terrific time sailing with all my mates for real this time😁 And May all your christmasses be white capped🤙

Coodanup, the best windsurf I've had in ages, pure speedsailing, only a short sharp session but a lot of fun.  Good to catch up with a lot of my favourite people. Nude Streaker 80L 54cm wide, TR18 5.9m and pepefoil 18cm variable rake.
