26 days ago 1 categories Forster, NSW, AU. Another windsurfari up the road to the land of Gabe. Stoked to have Gabe, Aza and Andre company to go try the northern weed bank. We were all on different size gear, i went carve99, 6.5, 19 delta. The wind eased and got big holes in it. So that was that. Very keen for more on the flatwater but i came in when the others did, opting to play it safe at a new-to-me somewhat isolated place. The carve carves! Love gybing on it. Looking forward to getting a good powered one on it.
This morning i found out that the hardrive containing 100's of hours of footage of yours truly progressing to this point, has just gone poof. External storage device failed. Had lovley footage of this place, LG, Burrum, heaps. Damn. Maybe it's a sign, maybe it was too good to have posted on youtube.

Yeehaa! Great fun.
Started with 6.5m turbo - RS2 ( 90ltres) - 22cms Atomic for 40mins odd. Bit over the top but I persisted. Got the alpha on that.
Changed to 6.2m M2 - OD - RS1 ( 80ltre) - 20cms Atomic
1st decent session with it and it's a beauty! I did 3 killer ( for me ) flat out planing gybes on it before it got too knarly and I played it safe and stopped gybing. They felt fantastic..
No decent alphas.
Got the 2sec in a mega gust out in the 15cm rollers. 1st time I've been that powered up on a bearaway since LG. Pity I couldn't score that gust in flatwater. I reckon it would have been 35-36kts..
There was some good flatwater but I couldn't score a decent gust in it.
I was all excited as the Garmin said 34.7kts..bummer..
Stayed out until I got 50kms.
Most powered I've been going upwind for quite a while. The sail was trying to kill me at times..
lots out.
Mick H - Pugs , Lajos , Byron , Mike , Bruce , Greg F , Russ, Nicko , Matt and lots of others.
