Coodanup, WA, AU a great first sail of 2025...Tried a my CA speed 60, wasn't very confident I could manage it but I persevered and it got easier, so I'm chuffed with myself. There was a few moments in time when I managed to keep up with Anita... till she put her foot on the accelerator 😂 I pinch myself that I get to sail with all the great sailors out there today. 😎 CA sp 60, Severne turbo 5.5, fangy fin.

Coodanup, WA, AU

Drove to coodanup hoping for stronger wind alas it was a gentle cruise with the 6.2m reflex. Started with isonic 86 and tdelta 18 then mistral 91 with 18 delta then 27cm weedy. Not enough grunt in the wind to drive for speed using the delta, smidgeon quicker with the old no name weedy. Made me appreciate the weed speeds but I was reluctant to trash the weed speed at Coodanup. Good crew out ennjoying the conditions. I was hoping that cloud would move inland and let teh breeze in but the cloud barely moved, made for a great sunset.

Pinnaroo Point, Hillaries Wall - first sail of the year - 920 foil, 4.5m Taka. Nice but a bit weedy, swell still up a bit.

Gloria, Your 2 sec would have been during that run with me, cos that was the speed showing on my Boom GPS when we seemed to he doing the same speed.
