Swan Bay, dead East today so made coming back up wind not real fast and hard work, good fun still. Been a long time since I have hit something big enough to catapult me, but I was lucky enough today to go from 35 knots to stop in the harness!  still as un fun as I remember!Laughing

Area 45, Mahers Landing, VIC, AU

E 20 - 30 kts

Low tide did not bring the mud bank out but all 15 windsurfers had fun.  As expected a few up from Melbourne

CA53 95 Ltr FR, KA Race 5.2, Speedweed 27

Getting more comfortable with this set up everytime I head out

First Trip To Mahers, VIC, AU. Huge turnout in the 15-30 knot easter. Some great tips from Kempsta who looked like he was doing about 200kp/h. At first a little hesitant to head on a downwind reach to Venus but it was sublime when I did. Isonic 80l/Moto5.8/25cm Blade. The blade doesn't appreciate the lulls but feels nice and loose.

Swan Bay, VIC, AU Good to get out on the flat stuff! Might have been a bit late for the best wind but still had a great sail with Jacques and later locals Rod, Pete Craig and Steve. 97 Falcon then 110 Patrik; 7.0 M3; 18cm then 22cm delta

Safety Beach, VIC, AU

Pretty rowdy on bump and jump gear in 1/2 to 1m chop. 30kts gusting to 35, a 4.7 was two reefs too big. Game over after a catapult and a broken harness line- fortunately. Promise to seek out some flatter water sometime.

Thank-you for the kind words team! It was really like a big party at 45 today. Many of us are returning to the sport after a multi decade break. I strikes me we need the next generation to discover the wow factor of this amazing sport. (It looks like it was March 2024 I purchased a Dyno 85,400 Red,Enigma and well used Gators off a retiring sailor to start me off...)Too much fun!
