warmth, sunshine, blue sky, flat water, good company and planing 99 percent of the time - a bit more wind would have been nice but a very pleasant afternoon on the water.

Now here is a surprise: if you take out my 17 knot hour in Albany from just over a week ago, today's was my best hour since October 2023. In today's light wind.  Who would have thought? Just shows I don't often sail without stopping. I think I only fell off gybes two or three times today, and they were mostly through fin hitting bottom.

coodanup today light 10-15 knots i could only manage 22 knots on a 98 lt speed board, i would have used a bigger board but took it out of the van

only got planning 2 or 3 times, sailed with Mike, Nauli, Rob, Anita, Davo from Brisbane and Gloria a very sad day for her as she lost her dog after 16 years

the river looked a lot better, the drive down was one and a half hours for most of us with the long weekend traffic

Coodanup, WA, AU Finally posting...although nothing much to report I nonetheless had fun on a lovely sunny day at my favorite spot. Great company as usual...did so much to clear my head..after saying goodbye to my furry little companion. 😢 Mostly dredging and the occasional gust, but grateful for any wind this time of the year!

Good to see you scored a jelly bean for your best hour in years Anita.:)

I sailed Melville. May have missed the best wind but it was a glorious afternoon in the sun. Water was reasonably flat as the wind waves of wind rolled through. Only used the unapproved garmin today. 31.3, 30.08, 16.7, 20.7, 23.4, 31km.

Hopefully more tomorrow.

Probably a first hour jellybean for me. Thanks to your excellent backup, Snickers!

Have you tried again to get that data off your GW60?

Yes I was able to get the data from the GW60. Shame the battery doesn't last long enough for a full day of sailing even with charging during breaks. Looks like I will need a slightly older version of mac OS for the driver to work for the GT31. Have an old laptop I can use but I need to sort out the photo library stored on that laptop before I mess around with it too much.

Snickers - might as well post the data from the GW 60 - such as it is - at least there will be some offocial data from the day.

You are welcome to use my computer for the GT 31 once you have it cleaned. Decrepit did a bit of research into the internal memory and it doesn't look like it holds much, unfortunately. Probably just the last part of your session. That could add to what you already have with the GW 60 though
