One of the best sessions I've had for a long time. Ezzy sail is great.

Tried the slalom board later when the tide had gone but too shallow for my 22 weedy.

Even too shallow for Pete's 16cm fin.

He grounded out in a gybe and went over the bars in ankle deep water.

Christchurch Estuary, NZ ..Bit up and down really! ..First time I've been flying for quite a while ..wasn't as much fun as I remember although I think the fact I didn't have any bloody wings strapped on was a significant detracting factor! ..nor any wheels to land on either ..misjudged how much tide had gone out!

Carbon Art OKE Wave, LOFT RB 5.0, 3 fin setup ..Top speed was a 2 Sec high of 29 knots (27.3 knots over 100 metres)

Carbon Art 78, LOFT RB 5.0, Tribal 16 (that I ran aground with going into a gybe near the bridge) 

..had seen Raymond gybing there earlier on while I was rigging, seems more time and tide had gone by than I realised.

All the speeds above were actually in Kitesurfer corner and they were all subsequent to my run aground & catapult - Seems like those weed infested areas somehow support greater water depth.
