Top day with an awesome crew on da water. Tassie boys showed us up today and good on them. Good to see crew come over here and share WA’s paradise. But tomorrow is a new day 😉.
I gave it a good crack today trying to get a forty but wasn’t to be.GPS showed 39 but got downsized, still pretty happy with my 5x10
Also good to get on da AV 45 as it’s been too long. Let’s hope tomorrow is another level.

53 days ago 1 categories Albany, WA, AU. Late to the party, a big party too with lots out...also, I questioned if I arrived at the right party. Seemed as if it was some sort of fancy dress party with Antman dressed as Quasimodo. Then this giant creature came over and said he got over 40 on first run..congrats Stroppo. Darryl was there of course dressed completely abnormaly (as normal) in his boardies...the temperature was 12deg and the rest of us were in full winter wetsuits... So I quickly put on my telly tubby suit (cunningly disguised as a new camera setup) and joined the fun. I think the local council will decide to put the first traffic lights in Albany somewhere around Waricles flags as many competing for the good stuff... New camera setup was flakey so came in and decided to take the drone for a spin since it was awseome alpha conditions and maybe today some records broken...turns out the drone was glitching big time and all the fancy stuff had decided years of flying in salt water was too much and simply turned themselves off. Thus had to fly it fully manual mode. since I was out of practice didn't want to push my luck so back to sailing...wind had eased off somewhat so was more of a cruise. Called it to go get supplies from Bunnings. iSonic97, KAR5.7, FF22(18)

Took the old falcon 56 off the wall to recall the joy of sailing it at Albany with the old evo 5.8. Magic combo not the quickest but most comfortable setup. Great session with top blokes and Marie.

Great day on the water with so many out and too many to name. Wind turned out better than expected. Tip for new players don't do my little trick of going into the razor shell beds, amazing how it slices through the bottom of a new board at the mlment it looks superficial but when I'm not so tireds i'll have a beter look. Safe to say won't be [laying in that neck of the woods. Apart from that brilliant day.

Late arvo session at Lilacs with a big crew. Started out on an old Windtech 920 Pro Race but got a bit twitchy with the Delta fin so swapped out to the Windtech 50 later model. 5.8 P7 AC2 + 18cm Tribal Delta. Great session and good catching up with a bunch of the crew. Nice PB there Antman!
