Coodanup, WA, AU Lovely day at Coods with the usual suspects! I had fun but ran out of energy pretty quickly....really wanted to try some bear always, still haven't managed to "go deep" 😅 it's a work in progress! Thanks Maree, Waricle and Remery for your encouragement and advice. Fox105, Severne turbo 5.5, Fangy fin.

Coodanup, WA, AU Started today at Liptons. First run was great and scored a 28knt in the chop. I ran aground by accident at Point Grey, not fun. Long walk back. I got back up and had about 1500m of pure spin out into the bay at Liptons. Started tacking back in to the car to adjust my gear. It was on my second last tack back that I got off and a bit of weed caught my foot. The wind pulled my sail forward then it crashed on top of me, this forced my to trip backwards and the weed on my foot made it worse. As I feel backwards my right foot smacked the bottom of the Kestral fin. As the pain rose up my leg I put the foo on the board to see a big hope in my 3mm bootie and blood coming out. Came in to see if I needed stitches, turns out just a small cut thanks to the bootie. Packed up at liptons and went to Coods. Coods was fun sailing! At the river across the channel three dolphins came up next to me! Small day out at Coodanup but great fun. Nice crew with Gloria, Pete, Maree, and Nauli (and a few others but I came out on the water late so I didn’t get to say hi.) All in All a fantastic day!🍄

Melville Beach, WA, AU

Stoked with that 2 sec. Turns out that's a PB for the river. Great day for it. After a bit of a play at Melville I thought I would check out Wally world. As always it was gusty there but there were some good patches. After a bearaway in the usual Point walter run I was heading back up wind when I spotted an oncoming gust and sent it. What a ripper! Best speed was not that far from the green navigational mark at the end of point walter. Headed back to melville to try a smaller fin. Smaller fin felt quicker but not long after the wind did the swing to the south. Good fun! Darryl was still hunting the gusts when I left. Good to see Fin doing well with no footstraps.

Coodanup, WA. Snapped a mast on my 2nd run after burying a fin while gybing in the shallows way off towards the channel, so had the long walk of shame negotiating the abundant crabs to get back for a new setup. By that stage the wind had dropped off a bit, but nice conditions nevertheless and mainly concentrated on the hour. Good to catch up with Gloria, Maree and Waricle. Radix98/Delta16/Moto7.8

epic Ben! I've often had my best runs sending it on starboard heading to the jetty... wind really funnels there.

Another Pb Fin... well done!  Topcat nice to catch up with you...pity about your mast...that shallow water has its drawbacks.
