Jethrow (78km): Sailed Narrabeen Lakes for the first time in about 20 years today. Used my wifes Kinetic centurion 67 and a Jethrow 8.2 race sail. I should have been on the formula gear but I'm desperate for some small board time. Couldn't sail after the first session as my calves were cramping up from standing up to my knees in the cold water, waiting for the puffs to come through. | ||||||||||||||||||
Karl (3279km): A shortish session due to fluctating winds. Used my Neil Pryde RS6 7.2. Jethrow helped me tune it better. Along with a boom that extends enough makes a difference. Board was my Tabou 140. Fin was Tabou Freeride 48cm. Wind was a shifty south easter. Some stronger gusts interspersed by extended lulls. Wind maybe got up to around 15 knots and down to 5. I now have a Tabou Rocket 105 which should be fast in stronger winds (if we ever get them)
Thanks for looking
